“she’s a slut”

at what point does a girl turn into a slut, or a whore, or whatever ‘nice’ word you want to describe the sexually ‘loose’ and overactive? they rarely name guys that unless their insertions become ridiculously undiscriminating, and they could care less about her name and where she’d been before.

this isn’t the typical and frankly over-debated ‘double standards’ rant. lets face it, the world is full of double standards, and even the blind can see it. my question is at what point does the good girl with a naughty nature turn into a ‘ho’? the moment she turns two into three? or from the time she unashamedly advertises her goods as she gyrates on top of a table? or just the fact that she’s just been seen with him, and him, and him..?

as long as a girl has a few male friends with whom she’s comfortable, then the situation gets iffy. everyone sees her carefree attitude around men and they jump to conclusions. she’s comfortable in knowing he doesn’t see her like that, and she has no hidden agenda, and thats rare these days. so she’ll lean on him, and she may be seen embraced by another, and it starts to become an issue. sometimes they’re right, and sometimes they’re wrong, but is she a slut because she’s not got her mouth pursed and her hands crossed at her chest? is it because she will hold onto them as if they’re her female friends, with no second thought about it? is that not proper?

maybe it’s because there’s something about the fact that a woody projects out makes it seem more available, and the way in which the purse is hidden should make it harder to attain, and thus less attainable. as such everything about a woman should become less attainable, including her conversation. oh, and her smiles should come at a price and not as freely. or maybe that’s too abstract a thought…

women judge each other just as harshly as men would judge a woman. maybe it’s something inside us that wants to make sure that each woman is doing her part to keep that thing sacred, because even a prostitute would be quick to call out her own with distaste.

“so because he has a penis and i don’t, it means i can’t have sex with as many people he does?” – yes it’s a double standard, and yes feminists and women’s rights promoters would have a field day with this, but nothing in the world was created to be the same. a guy can have a million female friends, but the moment a female has as many male friends “she’s a flirt”. he can sleep with 8, 9, 10, but the moment she goes past 3 “she’s too loose”.

is it because the world still sees women as possessions, and as such unused goods are of more value than used? and does it also mean women have to appear as unattainable as possible in order to match the standards required, and so that the name stays at a minimum?
